SR&RL caboose 556 coupler is an original coupler with clear cast in marking on the bottom reading "SR&RL 6 1912". On top it reads "Natl Rail Casting Co." on one side, and "Climax" on the other. SR&RL boxcar coupler reads "SR&RL RR" on the bottom, with the top the same as coupler 1. They are both identical except for the markings. Fred was Nelson Blount's friend and right hand man. Former Bridgton loco #7, which carried the name Fred H Richardson on the cabside at Edaville was steamed up again. Preparations included re-lettering one side of the tank for the B&H, painted on while steam was being raised. Sunday 6 November 2005: I first visited Edaville in 1985, and was "wowed" not only by the former Maine Two Foot stuff, but also by the fairly eclectic collection of other locomotives and vintage transport items. This was to become the first of many visits, but I did not know that at the time. The pictures shown here record a tourists general view of the exhibits at Edaville, as my interest in the Maine Two Footers grew later.

A standard gauge 37 ton Class B Climax locomotive. A former Mexican narrow gauge outside frame Baldwin 2-8-0. This class of engine has been modelled by Bachmann in On30. The former Godchaux 2-6-0 engine, rebuilt from an 0-4-2. This engine appears to be the basis for the Bachmann Large Scale 2-6-0 Industrial Mogul. Caboose #551 Caboose #554 Caboose #557 and the 90 degree crossing in front of the railcar shed/workshop.

Special trains ran throughout the weekend, which included freight cars, and the inspection car was also used to give rides. These and loco cab rides were available for special ticket holders, and 1989 was the first time that I managed to get there early enough to buy a ticket. In front of the Phillips Historical Society Built in 1882 by Laconia as number 32. It's cupola was knocked off during an excursion trip by to Harrison in 1898 and never replaced. It was sold to Edaville and became #101. It was returned to Maine in 1991.Thank you John Sharpe for providing information and photos. Built from plans for a FCC caboose
